Meet Photographer, Claudia Mejia
I started photography in 2012 when I left my surgical assistant career to become a full time mommy of three kiddos. We were part of a Jeep club at that time, and when we’d go on jeep trips, I’d take photos of all the jeeps doing some rad rock climbing. That’s when I knew I wanted to start my photography journey.
My biggest supporter, cheerleader and talented assistant has been my husband, “Oz”. He is my second shooter at weddings, drone pilot and creative resource when I draw a blank. We currently photograph everything, from families, to weddings and even rodeos. I love western fashion so I enjoy planning styled shoots as a fun, creative outlet.
One of the many rewarding things about photography is being able to express my creativity through art. Every time I am able to capture raw moments of my clients I am reminded of the reason why I love photography.
As the person looking through that viewfinder I am invited to be a part of such beautiful and intimate moments. As photographers of Mexia Photography LLC, we strive to expand our knowledge in all aspects of photography, but most importantly we strive to capture moments that our clients or soon to be friends will cherish forever.
